Beanstalks are committed to providing high quality childcare for children aged 2 to 11, at affordable prices.
Beanstalks Childcare began almost 15 years ago when our lovely Directors, parents themselves, discovered they couldn’t find a childcare provision that worked for them. The rest is history and we’ve been going strong for many years now, proudly caring for children across the Sale area.
We strive to offer a stimulating and fun environment for your child to flourish in our care. We listen to what our parents and their children desire, and have responded with a comprehensive range of age-appropriate activities.
Beanstalks strive to provide a home-from-home environment where your child is content, safe and stimulated. We support children to explore the world around them through play and interaction with peers and experienced adults who ask open-ended questions to consistently encourage learning.
Our caring environment promotes cultural values from around the world and we especially pride ourselves on the inclusive nature of our settings.
We provide an environment in which children can learn through enhanced play experiences and adult led learning outcomes where needed. Our child-centred curriculum and play based approach encourages children to become resilient, healthy and intelligent individuals who are ready to take on transitions in life.
Beanstalks are dedicated to a continuous cycle of listening to and responding to parent feedback. We adopt an open door policy where parents are welcome at any time to discuss their child’s care, promote feedback via the suggestion box, and ask parents to complete regular questionnaires to help us maintain our high standards.
Each child attending Beanstalks is offered the opportunity to develop their experiences, skills and all round development. All our clubs offer age appropriate resources and incorporate indoor and outdoor activities.
Beanstalks operate within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This framework encourages a holistic approach to development and learning through interaction with people and the exploration of the world around them. The children’s achievements are treated individually and development takes place in all areas of the provision.
Activities are planned, evaluated and implemented on a short, medium and long term basis to facilitate a broad experience and knowledge-base for all the children who attend Beanstalks.
In order to always have the ability to provide consistent, high quality childcare our staffing policy is designed to meet and exceed OFSTED requirements. By endeavouring to be over ratio in staffing terms, we have an inbuilt contingency to cater for unplanned staff absences and the ability to allow the children continuous free flow access between the indoor and outdoor spaces.
Continuity of care is very important and at Beanstalks our recruitment and retention policies are designed to find and retain the best people to care for your children. We aim to keep staff turnover to a minimum via extensive training, incentive schemes and active support for career advancement.
At Beanstalks we regard each meal time as a happy relaxed social occasion, where a nutritious and varied diet will be provided for your child. Children sit in groups with a member of staff, who encourages social interaction and conversation.
Drinking water is readily available for the children throughout the sessions. A vegetarian option is always available and upon request we cater for a wide range of dietary requirements.
